BOS WINE DINNER @ TAKOI - WEDNESDAY AUGUST 31ST

We're thrilled to announce our first ever wine dinner at Takoi and are even more excited to be collaborating on this dinner with BOS Wines.

BOS is a unique California meets Michigan winery started by Dave Bos and his wife, Jackie, who moved to northern Michigan four years ago to start BOS.  Their winery is producing noteworthy red, white and sparkling wines with grapes grown on Old Mission and Leelanau peninsulas, Interlochen and in Napa Valley.

Beyond their finished product, they put a huge emphasis on the farming of their grapes.  Dave Bos has been known to describe himself as a farmer first. Beginning in Napa, and now on Leelanau and Old Mission peninsulas, Dave has placed biodynamic farming at the center of his operation. With his assistance and dedication, he has helped to convert a large majority of the vineyards in the Traverse City area to biodynamic growing practices over the last several years, all while releasing his first Michigan vintages simultaneously.

BOS' dedication to farming resonates with Takoi restaurant, which over the last couple of years has moved towards farming a majority of its own produce at nearby HiO Farm.  For the evening, Chef Brad will curate a unique, multi-course menu featuring the summer's best offerings from our farm to accompany these special wines.

There will be two seatings available for the evening - one at 6pm and the other at 8:30pm.  Tickets are $100 per person plus tax and gratuity.  The cost of this ticket includes both food and wine pairings.  There will be standard and vegetarian/vegan options available.  However, we do ask that each table participate in the same menu, as the meal will be served family style.  You can book your reservations HERE.
